We will not wither.

O Gracious Lord.

You have known our ways. You know our comings and goings. You know the intent of our hearts. You know our thoughts before we ever speak. You know the paths our feet take. Lead us in your ways and your truth. Keep our lips from speaking evil and make our hearts good and pure before you.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. Nor stands in the path of sinners. Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD. And in His law he meditates day and night.

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. That brings forth its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper.

“The ungodly are not so. But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment. Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous. But the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

Psalms‬ ‭1:1-6‬

So Gracious Lord. We meditate on you because in you we find fullness of joy. In you we find peace and hope. We look to you. We trust in you. You will keep our feet from stumbling and will clear the path before us. You have heard our cries for America and our President. So we wait on you! Oh yes! We wait on you and stand firmly planted on the Word knowing that you are fully in control.

You know the ways of the righteous and you also know the ways of the ungodly and the unrighteous. The ungodly will perish. They will not succeed and their plans will not prosper against your kingdom. Your kingdom is the kingdom without end. We say again. Your kingdom is the kingdom without end. And we give you all the glory, all the honor and all the praise. Thank you that we are part of that kingdom.

O Gracious Lord. We are the righteous trees standing by the waters waiting for you. We will not wither under the pressure and uncertainty. But we will prosper and grow in the knowledge that the Lord our God reigns. He is the undefeated champion. He is the creator. He is the master of the universe. He is redeemer, savior and king.

What a mighty God we serve! He will sustain us. He will keep us. We declare! He will rule and reign again in America! We declare! We remain a Nation situated under God and revolving around His Word and his ways!
