O Hallelujah. We praise the name of the LORD Most High. We lift our hands in the sanctuary. We PRAISE the name of the LORD who is worthy to be praised. He is worthy! He is worthy! He is worthy!
“The Lord is my light and my salvation - WHOM SHALL I FEAR? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be CONFIDENT.”
We declare! Our CONFIDENCE is in the LORD. Our trust is in the LORD. Our hope is in the LORD. He alone is our salvation. He alone is our strength. We will NOT be afraid. We will NOT be dismayed or discouraged. We stand CONFIDENT that King Jesus is still on the throne. Man may fail. Politicians may fail. Judges may fail. But the LORD is our deliverer and that never changes! The decisions of man do not CHANGE who you are O LORD Most High! And we praise you in this storm. You are the water walker. You are the wave tamer. You are the peace speaker. You hold the winds in your hands and calm the seas with your voice.
“For in the day of trouble he will KEEP ME safe in his dwelling; he will HIDE ME in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me HIGH upon a rock. Then MY head will be EXALTED above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of JOY; I will sing and make music to the Lord.”
We don’t mourn. We rejoice. We don’t sing a dirge. We sing a song of praise in the presence of our enemies. We shout HALLELUJAH to the LORD. He reigns! He reigns! He reigns! We delight in Jesus tonight! He is Wonderful. Counselor. Mighty God. The Everlasting Father. The Prince of Peace. He is our Saviour and our Redeemer! He is our DELIVERER and our soon Coming King!
“Teach me how to live, O Lord. LEAD me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me. Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence.
“Yet I am CONFIDENT I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be BRAVE and COURAGEOUS. Yes, WAIT patiently for the Lord.” Psalms 27
We pray. We believe. We stand. We wait. We win.
So be it! In Jesus name.
