Father God.
Give us peace and rest across this Nation. We turn our eyes from the grand illusion that is being performed over our nation. We turn our eyes to your Word to protect our hearts and minds from the lies and deceit. We look to you because YOU are truth.
“Lord, don’t you hear what my well-meaning friends keep saying to me: Run away while you can! Fly away like a bird to hide in the mountains for safety. For your enemies have prepared a TRAP for you! They plan to destroy you with their slander and deceitful lies.”
O LORD. We have seen the traps and we stay on guard for more. We put nothing past the enemy and his evil minions. We cover ourselves with the Word and shun the lies of the enemy.
“Can’t you see them hiding in their place of darkness and shadows? They’re set against you and all those who live upright lives. But don’t they know, LORD, that I have made YOU my only hiding place? Don’t they know that I ALWAYS trust in you?”
Hallelujah! All of our hope (confident trust) is in the LORD. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nothing can pluck us out of his hands. Nothing can change the plans he has for us. He is our hiding place. He is our shelter in this storm. The LORD strong and mighty is in complete and total control.
“What can the righteous accomplish when truth’s pillars are destroyed and law and order collapse? Yet the Eternal One is NEVER SHAKEN — he is still found in his temple of holiness, reigning as Lord and King over all. He is closely watching everything that happens. And with a glance, his eyes examine every heart. For HIS heavenly rule will prevail over all. He will test both the righteous and the wicked, exposing each heart.”
We will occupy until you come. Oh yes we will! We will accomplish your will and your way. We will accomplish freedom. We will accomplish truth, righteousness and justice. We will NOT be shaken. Even while we watch this attempted ill-egal take over of this Nation. Even while it seems the pillars of our Constitution are being shredded. We stand secure and steadfast that the LORD is our salvation. The LORD is our deliverer! The LORD is our strong tower and shield.
“God’s very soul DETESTS those who love to resort to violence. He will rain down upon them JUDGEMENT for their sins. A scorching wind will be their portion and lot in life. But remember this: the Righteous Lord loves what is right and just, and every godly one will come into his presence and gaze upon his face!” Psalms 11:1-7
Thank you LORD for your face. You will cause your face to shine upon us. So we rest in you even though it seems the pillars fall around us. You will shelter us in your loving presence. It is better than life. So with our voices singing out and our hands lifted high, we PRAISE you in this storm. We sing a song of deliverance in the presence of our enemies.
