Thirst.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”

Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬

“O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1

“But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” John 4:14

Come to us Jesus. We wait for you. We sit in your presence and drink from your well of living water. Cleanse us. Refresh us. Revive us. Make us new. Make us whole. We place our eyes on you and remove them from the grand delusion set before us. We need YOU. Send your refreshing presence to us as we place our hearts and thoughts on you. We lay it ALL DOWN at your feet.

You are greater within us than he that is in the world. You are greater than the mess of 2020 and greater than the continuation of the mess into 2021. Yes. It’s a mess here in America but you are still greater than the mess. You still have a plan. You will be right in time and redeem your people. Remove the distractions from your people’s eyes and help us to focus on you and you alone. We RESIST the devil! We resist him and he must flee. The enemy is the enemy. People aren’t the enemy. Prophets aren’t the enemy. Pandering politicians aren’t the enemy.

We choose life over death. We choose prosperity over disaster. We choose this day to serve the LORD. Come and be the LORD of America. Take us back to our founding roots. A Nation founded on God and Christian principles. Bring back the light to America. Let our light so shine to the Nations of the earth.

So we will be strong and courageous! We will not be afraid. We will not panic. For the LORD our God will go personally before us. He will not fail us. He will not abandon us. We are called and we are chosen. We are His. We will be refreshed and renewed by His power.

We will live long in this land that the LORD has given us. We will occupy until He comes to take us home. We will not bend. We will not bow. We are overcomers. We are more than conquerors. We are victorious. We will refresh ourselves in the LORD and press on toward the prize!

In Jesus name. Amen and amen.
