Father God.
We encourage ourselves in the Lord tonight. We lift each other up. We sharpen each other like iron sharpens iron. We comfort each other. We surround ourselves with your goodness. Your presence sustains us. Your strength upholds us.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Come be our STRONG GOD! The Lord is the king! He is robed in majesty. He is armed with strength. The world stands firm and CANNOT be shaken. Even though the enemy roars and threatens. We remain solid on your firm foundation. We will NOT BE SHAKEN! O Lord, your throne cannot be shaken. It has stood from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past. You cannot be moved. You cannot be coerced. And the enemy is fighting a loosing battle! He is defeated!
Lord Most High above the earth. You see the floods have risen up! The floods of our enemies have roared like thunder! The floods of our enemies have lifted their pounding waves. But you are the water walker! You calm the raging seas and silence the winds. Peace be still! You cry out over the troubled waters and they must obey. They must obey! Peace over America. Peace over our President and Vice President. Peace to families and homes. Peace to depressed and oppressed minds. Peace come like a gentle rain and wash away depression, hopelessness and fear.
“But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore - the Lord above is mightier than these! Your royal laws cannot be changed. Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever.” Psalms 93:4
Reign over us, O Yahweh. Ruler of the heavens and the earth. Ruler over all. You remain ruler when times are good. You remain ruler when times are bad. Your Word does not change. Your Word does not return void. You will accomplish your plan. There is no demon above or below that can stop the Lord God Almighty. There are no human plans, human minds or human hands that can stop the Lord!
We hold tightly to the promises of our strong God. We stand firm without wavering. Our God can be trusted! Oh yes! He can be trusted! His raging fire will come and consume his enemies and God’s judgement can be expected to fall upon them. We wait for the day when our enemies will fall. We declare! They will fail and they will fall!
“Just think how much WORSE the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have INSULTED and DISDAINED the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. For we know the one who said, “I will take REVENGE. I will pay them back.” Hebrews 10:29-30
This is what the Lord says! It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Woe to you enemies of the living God! Woe to you enemies of righteousness, truth and freedom. You and your perverted and demonic ways will be drug down from your high places by the hand of the Lord! You will be consumed by the Lord! Oh yes you will!
We put our confident trust in the Lord! He has a great reward for us and a great punishment for our enemies. O Hallelujah! We wait with patient endurance and will receive what our God has promised! We are not shaken by what we see or what we hear. The just shall live by faith and not by sight. So we keep our eyes on Jesus. The author and the finisher! The Saviour. The Redeemer. The King!
So be it! In Jesus name.
