O Lord.
Hear our prayers and pay attention to our groaning. Listen to our cries for help, my King and my God. We pray to no one but you. We trust no one but you. We listen to your voice in the morning and mediate on it in the evening. You satisfy our souls with good things. We bring our requests to you Lord. Each and every day. And we wait. We wait expectantly knowing that your ears are attuned to our cries. Selah.
So we wait on you. We wait on the Supreme Court. We wait for opinions and rulings and verdicts. We hurry up and wait. But your Word gives us just what we need when we wait. You will give us strength. All the strength that we need. They that wait upon the Lord shall RENEW their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall walk and not grow weary. They shall run and not faint.
The Lord! He will clear the way through the wilderness. Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God! Make a highway through this wasteland of an election. Make a highway through this co.vid debacle. Make a highway through the tyranny and anarchy. Make a highway of holiness from sea to shining sea. A highway of righteousness and justice. A highway of truth. A highway of freedom. A highway of salvation, revival and reformation.
Come O Holy One! Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills. Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places. Loose your glory among us. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. Oh yes! We declare the glory of the Lord to be revealed among us. All across America and the Nations of the earth.
We declare deliverance from our enemies. We declare victory for America and President Trump. We declare the good news and we shout it from the mountaintops! Our God reigns! We shout it louder. OUR GOD REIGNS! We shout and we are not be afraid. Our God is coming! Yes, the Sovereign Lord God is coming in power to deliver us from the noisy oppressor and these wearisome accusers.
The Lord! He will rule with a powerful arm. He will crush our enemies and silence them. The Lord is the everlasting God. He is the creator. He never grows weak. He never grows tired. He sees every sparrow and he certainly sees us right now. He gives POWER to the weak and he gives STRENGTH to the powerless. He will protect. He will shelter. He will do all things right. O Yes! He will do all things right.
We will soar over our enemies and into the presence of Almighty God. Shouting with our hands held high! The LORD reigns! The LORD reigns! The LORD reigns! Let the earth be glad. Let the distant shores rejoice. The creator and the maker of it all. He is in control. He does all things well and he will make all things new.
