Rescue!

O Mighty One.

For the glory of your name preserve our lives. Preserve our freedom. Preserve America. Because Of your faithfulness bring us out of this distress. In your unfailing love silence all of our enemies. Destroy all of our foes.

‭‭Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle. He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my rescuer. He is my shield, and I take refuge in him. He makes the nations submit to me. Oh yes! He makes them submit!

O Lord our Rock. We see some things submitting to your will and way. We see you working in our midst and on our behalf. Only you! Only you can open the doors we cannot see. Only you can make a way where there is no way. Making paths in the wilderness. Because you are the waymaker.

We do not rejoice in the passing of Justice Ginsberg. But we see your hand at work with our spiritual eyes. We see the handwriting on the wall. You have made a way of escape for your people. You are answering our prayers. You are an on time God. Your timing is impeccable. Your thoughts are not ours. Your ways are higher.

My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

We submit to your ways and your thoughts. We ask for mercy in this new SCOTUS appointment. It appears we already have the majority needed to approve the nominee. It also appears we will have a 3 day dog and pony show in the Senate. O Lord help us!

In your infinite wisdom, have mercy on the nominee. Have mercy on America. We have heard enough negativity and dooms day talk to last a lifetime and beyond. We rebuke any attempts to excoriate, sabotage or draw these Senate hearings out.

We rebuke the usual onslaught of the left trying to destroy with vicious lies and accusations. We declare an unusual calm over the Senate. We declare that the mouths of the attackers be silenced. That their mouths shut up and dry up like cracker juice. Their plans will NOT prosper!

O Mighty One. Come with your wide, expansive eagle wings. Protect. Cover. Overshadow. We declare that the nominee will go sailing through with flying colors. We declare a landslide of votes to push her through to victory. Nothing is too hard for the Lord!

Open the heavens and come down in our midst. Overshadow our President during the upcoming days and weeks. Lead and guide him in all godly wisdom. Protect him from harm and danger. In Jesus mighty name! The one who is the conquering King! We declare that NO weapons of ANY type or kind will prosper. We declare that NO plots, plans or schemes will prosper. No. Not. One.

O Lord! Hurl your lightning bolts and scatter the enemies of America and the enemies of freedom. Shoot your arrows and confuse them. Reach down from heaven and rescue us from these socialist politicians and thugs who seek to overtake us at every turn. Smiling in our faces. Spewing deception while stabbing us in the backs. Overtake them by your mighty power!

Rescue us from the power of the enemies of freedom. Fill our land with your goodness. May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the flocks in our fields multiply by the thousands, even tens of thousands, and may our oxen be loaded down with produce.

May there be no enemy breaking through our walls, no going into captivity, no cries of alarm in our town squares. Joyful are those who live like this. And we will live to tell the story of your rescuing power to the coming generations!
