Father God!
We seek you! You are our light and salvation. Why should we be afraid? You are our fortress. You protect us from danger. So why should we tremble? When evil comes to devour us! When enemies and foes attack us! We declare that our enemies are stumbling! We declare their footing is slipping and they are falling! Even though the enemy surrounds us on every side. There are MORE for us than against us!
“So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”
“Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” II Kings 6:16-17
O Hallelujah! When it feels like we are surrounded. We are surrounded by the LORD! We are surrounded by the Hosts of Heaven! So we SET OUR HEARTS on the LORD. We set our hearts on his goodness and his mercy. We set our hearts on his promises. We set our hearts on the FACT that our GOD does not change!
O LORD. We meditate on you. We listen for you. When you call us, we will answer. You will conceal us. You will place us on the rock higher than our enemies. You will place America upon the rock higher than her enemies. We declare that America will hold her head high above her enemies. They shall not prevail against freedom, justice and righteousness.
And even though some scoff. And even though they cast dispersions and blame. And even within the church and religious denominations. And even though some cast blame and condemnation. We cast our eyes upon Jesus. We look to him. We follow him. We talk to him. We trust in him. The LORD will not abandon his own.
He has our best interest at heart. He has our hearts! We are called to be BRAVEHEARTS crying out FREEDOM! Here we are seeking and searching the face and heart of OUR GOD.
