Father God.
We come before you like Elijah whom they called the “troublemaker of Israel” because he stood for truth and righteousness. He pushed back against the enemy, their idols and their threats. We do the same!
We come before you with this spirit of fear that has enveloped the earth - and especially the church. Such things ought not to be with those who are called by your name!
Fear has become an idol and is ever before and hiding the faces of the people with masks. Taking away the breath of life given by you, O Giver of Life. Taking away identity. Taking away expression. Fear is ever surrounding them with social distancing. Fear is ever sequestering them into isolation. We rebuke fear! In Jesus name. We say! LET MY PEOPLE GO!
We pray for those bowing down to the crowned head of coronavirus fear. Be gone you spirit of fear!
We pray for those bowing down to the government in fear of losing their jobs or comforts. Be gone you spirit of fear!
We pray for those bowing down in fear to forced coercion to take a jab that they don’t want. Be gone you spirit of fear!
We pray for the children who are being abused, oppressed and depressed by these tyrants forcing masks on their precious faces made in your image. We come against the spirit of fear being instilled in them every day.
The LORD would say to those in fear!
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
The LORD would say to those in fear!
“Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent.” 1 Kings 18:21
O LORD! We open up our mouths and we say that we will not be silent. We will not stand idly by. We will put our hand to the plow and not turn back. We will stand for the Word. We will stand for Jesus. We will stand for freedom. We will stand for America. We will join our hearts and spirits with the Nations and stand with YAHWEH!
We place these fears. We place this oppressive, demonic spiritual attack against the earth. We place these things on the altar of God like Elijah. We have filled up our bowls of prayer and ask the LORD to pour the water of our prayers and that of the Holy Spirit over the altars of Baal.
We say to the prophets of Baal that we are not afraid. We declare that we are the kings and priests of the LORD. We declare that we are the blessed of the LORD. We declare that the LORD “will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants.” Isaiah 44:3
We declare the blessing of the LORD upon the whole earth. Let the rivers run. Let the oceans roar. Let the seas crash upon the shores and declare the glory of the LORD upon the earth!
Let the church rise up!
Let the redeemed say so!
Let the Spirit come forth!
Healing come. Salvation come.
Reformation come. Revival come.
Renewal come. Resurrection come.
Drench us in your presence, O Gracious One. Drench us. Soak us. Surround us. Cover us with your presence and give us your breath of life. Give us your Spirit. Give us a sound mind. Give us common sense and take away any confusion sent by the enemy.
We declare the Spirit of the Living God is arising upon the earth. Nothing will stop his power. Nothing will stop his presence. Nothing will stop his glory. Nothing will stop the “all consuming fire” of the LORD from licking up the idols from the altars of Baal.
“At the usual time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet walked up to the altar and prayed, “O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command.
“O LORD, answer me! Answer me so these people will know that you, O LORD, are God and that you have brought them back to yourself.”
“Immediately the fire of the LORD flashed down from heaven and burned up the young bull, the wood, the stones, and the dust. It even licked up all the water in the trench!
“And when all the people saw it, they fell face down on the ground and cried out, “The LORD—he is God! Yes, the LORD is God!” 1 Kings 18:36-39
We declare to fear! You have no hold on us. We stand in faith. We stand on the Word. We stand up and cry out to the spirit of fear that the LORD - HE IS GOD!
We will not hobble on two opinions. We will not sit on the fence and teeter totter between fear and faith. We will stand in faith believing that the LORD is our deliverer. He is our rear guard. He is our fortress. He is our stronghold. He is our shield and the source of our strength! Therefore! We will not fear!
In Jesus name. Amen.
