Father.
I love Psalms 2. I just love it! It speaks to my heart. It speaks to my soul. It speaks to our current situation. It speaks to EVERYTHING that you are doing among us. It speaks to who you are and how you feel. It speaks to the raging kingdoms of the earth. It reminds us that what they are doing WILL BE IN VAIN! In Jesus name. It will come to nought.
“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:”
We declare the Word of the LORD over America! It SHALL NOT return void! It SHALL accomplish its task!
In our anger, we laugh with you LORD. It’s like living in a tragic three ring circus where the wild animals are in charge. But all is NOT what it seems! Oh no! And all is NOT lost! The Holy One of Israel is on the heavenly throne looking down at the foot stool of earth. The LORD declares to the earth and all its inhabitants!
“Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’
“Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”
Psalms 2
This is what the LORD has said. We declare it over America and the Nations. America will fulfill her God given destiny. America will be the shining light on the hill. America will be a Nation of freedom, truth, justice and righteousness.
We put our complete trust in the LORD. He is the magnificent creator of the heavens and the earth. He is majestic and holy. He is gracious and kind. He is ruling from his throne in righteousness and justice. He does not fail. He does not fall short. He is the King of Kings!
