O what a surprise!
O what a morning!
O what a day!
O what a Savior!
“After the Sabbath, as Sunday morning was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
Suddenly there was a violent earthquake; an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled the stone away, and sat on it.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
The guards were so afraid that they trembled and became like dead men.
The angel spoke to the women. “You must not be afraid,” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. HE IS NOT HERE! He has been raised, just as he said. Come here and see the place where he was lying.”
Matthew 28:1-6
O Hallelujah! Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine this scene? Soldiers like stone. An Angel! An empty tomb. The folded linens. The women shocked with the news!
He isn’t here. He isn’t here. HE IS NOT HERE! He has risen from the dead just as he said!
Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! Run and spread the Good News! OH HAPPY DAY! He lives! He lives! He lives!
Rejoice the tomb is empty.
Rejoice death had NO HOLD on him.
Rejoice the Savior has risen.
Rejoice Jesus has won the victory over death, hell and the grave.
Rejoice Jesus is the all time, undisputed Champion of Sacrificial and Selfless Love!
Rejoice all ye people!
He Lives! He Lives! He Lives!
Christ Jesus still lives today. He walks with us. He talks with us. He leads and guides us. He loves us. He did it ALL for us!
Oh yes! HE IS RISEN and HE IS HERE!
