Father God.
After the events of this prayer infused weekend at our Nation’s Capital. I’m reminded of Nehemiah when he prayed for his beloved Jerusalem. We declare this over America!
O Lord God of heaven. The great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments.
Let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants. Confessing the sins of the people of Israel which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned.
Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples.
But if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen to make my name dwell there.
O Father. Come and make your famous name dwell in America. We are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand. We need you. Yes. We need you to come and dwell among us.
O Lord. Let your ear be attentive to the prayers of your servants. Those who delight to call on your name and fear your name.
The people you have rescued by your great power and strong hand. We are those people. We are your servants! Hear our prayers as we look forward with great anticipation for the touch of your hand and your mighty move among us.
Give us success! Success in the nomination of Judge Barrett. Success in the re-election of President Trump. Success in the overthrow of the tyrants in our government. Success to the utter defeat of our enemies. Success in sending our enemies to flight.
Give us success in restoring our freedoms. Give success to your servants today and grant us mercy in your sight.
