“Hear my prayer, O Lord; let my cry come to you!
“Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!”
Psalm 102:1-2
And we call upon the name of the Lord and ask you to be merciful to us. And we know that you hear our prayers. You hear the cries of the saints. You are full of mercy. And you delight in your children!
We are your creation and You are the Lord of ALL Creation! You set the sun and the moon to shine upon the earth. You cast the stars to twinkle in the darkness. The mountains rise to meet the skies because of your handiwork. The seas roll and roar at your command.
We remember that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth!” You ride upon the clouds and the earth is your footstool. You are enthroned forever! You are the one true God and beside you there is none other.
“Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
“They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
“But you are the same, and your years have no end.
“The children of your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before you.”
Psalm 102:25-28
Thank you, O Lord, that you do not change! You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You are the author and the finisher. You are the holder of all things.
We trust you.
We look to you.
We wait for you.
In Jesus name.
