Father.
You are the one and the only. You are God. You are God alone. You are creator. You are glorious. And we praise you. And we lift you high. And we love you. And we thank you.
Even in our human frailty and weakness. We stand secure and strong in you. We encourage ourselves with your Word. But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says. Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Oh yes! You are the Lord our God. You have not forsaken your people. You have not forsaken America. You have not forsaken President Trump.
We are called and we are chosen. We declare! You are with us in the fires of oppression. We will not be burned up. We will not be consumed. We declare! You are with us through these rivers of difficulty. And we will not drown. The church will not drown. America will not drown. President Trump will not drown.
We will not be tossed about by the winds of confusion, fear, dread or defeat. Oh no! We will not be tossed about! O Lord! You say! But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. So we will not doubt!
We declare! We will not be consumed by doubt. We will not be consumed by doom and gloom. We will not be consumed by fear. We will not be consumed by threats. We will not be consumed by all this constant fear mongering chatter. Ho! The Lord is in control. Oh! Yes he is! We will not walk by fear. We will not be afraid! We will walk by faith!
We are the called. We are the chosen. He knows our name. He will rescue. He will deliver.
In Jesus name. So be it!
