Come! O Shepherd.

Yahweh.

We speak your Word today over the grieving families and community of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Sometimes our words fail. But Your Word never fails.

O Spirit of the Living God.

Come and be their Shepherd.

Come and be their rod and their staff.

Anoint their heads with oil and let goodness and mercy surround them in their time of need.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

“He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.” Psalms‬ ‭23:1-6‬

Come! O Holy Spirit!

Bring what only you can bring.

Do what only you can do.

Bring your peace. Bring your comfort.

Bring healing. Bring restoration.

Bring righteous justice.

Surround this community with your manifest presence and turn things around like only you can do.

Surround every grieving family with the glorious light of your love.

Send help. Send hope.

Send comfort and peace.

Send a song of deliverance.

Send the sound of the abundance of healing rain over Wekausha.

Send the joy of the LORD to give them strength.

Selah.

In Jesus name. Amen.
