LORD.
You have told us to stand. So we will stand in hope and and we will stand in faith. We will not waiver. We will not bend. We will not bow. We will endure to the end!
“So do not throw away this confident TRUST in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! PATIENT ENDURANCE is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
“For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will LIVE BY FAITH. But I will take NO pleasure in anyone who turns away. But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. WE are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” Hebrews 10:35-39
LORD. We stand in HOPE and FAITH.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
LORD. We know by faith Abel gave an acceptable offering. By faith Enoch was taken up. By faith Noah built an ark. He was laughed at and he was scorned. He was told he was a crazy old fool. UNTIL it began to rain! The first drops fell until a deluge covers the earth. O Hallelujah! Come and bring a deluge of your GLORY over America!
By faith Abraham left his home to an undetermined destination. He was looking for a city with eternal foundations built by God. By faith Sarah had a baby in old age. O Hallelujah! She believed that God would keep his promise. An entire nation came from this one man who was almost dead! A nation with so many people like the sands in the shore and the stars in the sky!
It was by faith Abraham offered Isaac. It was by faith Moses led the people across the Red Sea on dry land. It was by faith Israel marched around Jericho and the walls fell down flat!
“How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them.
“They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight.“ Hebrews 11:32-34
O Hallelujah! So we shall walk by FAITH and not by sight. Come LORD and build up our most holy faith. Weakness leave! Weariness leave! Endurance rise up! Perseverance rise up! Strength rise up! We shall persevere! We shall endure! We shall put the enemy to flight! We shall be victorious!
