All Authority.

O Holy Father.

We see in Your Word. Over two thousand years ago. Even as Jesus rose from the dead. The enemy was still plotting.

They secured the tomb.

They sealed the stone.

They set the guard. Then.

They sold their souls.

They spread the lie.

“Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.

“When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,

“saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’

“And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.”

“So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:11-15‬

O LORD of Truth! Even to this day, the evil one perpetuates the lie, the deception and the bribery.

But You, Jesus! In response to it ALL …

To every lie and deception.

To every made up story.

To every doubter.

To every naysayer.

To those who put You in the grave.

To those who despise and reject Your Holy Name.

You said!

“ALL authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew‬ ‭28:18‬

It was truly finished on the Cross. You, Jesus, said that You have the authority. No matter what the enemy did then or does now! You are in control.

Thank you Jesus that we can depend on You. We can stand on Your Word. We can trust You. You are with us always and forever!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:19-20‬

So we occupy.

So we pray.

So we fellowship.

So we worship.

So we spread the Good News.

So we wait on you LORD and you will renew our strength.

So we wait with great hope and anticipation for the day of your return..

So we say!

“This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.

“I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.

“The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.

“This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

“Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118:20-26‬

So be it. In Your Name, we pray.
