Word.

O LORD.

We rest our hope in you, in your precious promises and in Your Word. O Yes! We rest in you. Our hope is in you.

“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

“as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

“but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

“because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.””

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭1:13-16‬

So we call on you O Holy Father. You are our firm foundation when the earth reels and shakes beneath us.

Jesus, you are the rock. You are the cornerstone. You have caused us to be born again of incorruptible seed. You have given us life. You have given us a blessed hope.

Jesus, you have given us Your Word which leads and guides us. It comforts us. It instructs us. It gives us peace. It endures forever.

“because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,

But the word of the LORD endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭1:24-25‬

The Word of the LORD is a lamp and a light. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

When we can’t find our way, your Word shows us the way. Your Spirit leads and guides us. Thank you Jesus!

When the earth around us is shifting sand. When the earth around us is corrupted by evil men. When the earth around us groans for your coming.

We stand on Your Word that every promise will be fulfilled!

We stand on Your Word and we praise your holy and your righteous name.

We stand on Your Word that declares that You have called us out of the darkness into your marvelous light.

We ask you to shine the light of your glory over the lost and undone. Over the wicked. Over the vile. Over those who attempt to put out the Light.

Bring salvation to the earth.

Bring your goodness to the earth.

And shed your grace and mercy upon us during these perilous times.
